Changelog:
- New: iPhone Duo support! Unfold your iPhone Duo and the game uses both halves — the order and plate on one side, the pantry on the other. Folded, it plays just like before. Things look nicer on iPad, too.
- New cookbook: every dish you cook is collected with its recipe, and dishes you have not cooked yet stay a secret. Plus an ingredient lexicon — tap an ingredient to hear its name and see which recipes use it.
- New kitchen quiz: 10 fun questions per round about dishes and ingredients. No lives needed — the right answer is shown and read aloud. Can you beat your best score?
- Easier parents area: the check for grown-ups is now a simpler math task.
- Ad-free: no more ads, just calm cooking fun. Plus lots of small improvements.

Yummy Quest is a gentle cooking game that helps young children (ages 3–10) learn which ingredients make which foods. A cute animal friend orders a dish, and your little chef taps the pantry to add the right ingredients and serve it up. It is simple to pick up, calm to play, and quietly educational.
Every recipe teaches real food knowledge: pancakes need flour, milk and egg; lemonade needs water and lemon; a fruit salad needs fruit. Many dishes allow optional extras, so there is room to experiment without being wrong.
Features:
- Learn by doing: cute animal customers order a meal and your child assembles it from a friendly pantry of ingredients.
- NEW Cookbook: every dish your child cooks successfully is collected with its recipe — what must go in, what can go in too, and the kind of dish, like breakfast or soup. Dishes not cooked yet stay "still a secret".
- Ingredient lexicon in the cookbook: fruit, vegetables, spices and more, grouped by category. Tap an ingredient to hear its name read aloud and see which collected recipes contain it.
- NEW Kitchen Quiz: rounds of 10 questions — "What is this called?", "What goes into this dish?", "What can you cook with this?". No lives and no purchases needed; a wrong answer shows and reads out the right one, and the best score is saved.
- Over 1000 levels of gently rising difficulty, from two-ingredient snacks to big colorful main dishes.
- Clear food icons and adorable animated animal characters — no reading required to play.
- A read-aloud button speaks the dish name, for children who cannot read yet and for accessibility.
- Multiple correct solutions: optional ingredients are welcome and never spoil the result, so kids can explore freely.
- Recipe hints when you get stuck, and a recipe you have seen stays open for the day.
- Pick your favorite animal avatar: cat, dog, fox, bunny, bear, panda, penguin, koala and more.
- Gentle music, soft sound effects and haptics, all adjustable in Settings.
- Game Center leaderboard to celebrate progress.
- 20 languages so children can learn food words in their own language — or a new one.
- Made for iPhone Duo: unfolded, the game uses both halves — order and plate on one side, pantry on the other; the cookbook and quiz sit side by side too. Folded, it plays like any iPhone. The iPad layout is better than ever, too.
- Designed for little hands: big buttons, no clutter, calm and friendly throughout.
Yummy Quest is free to play and has no advertising. Optional in-app purchases refill lives and hints or unlock them without limits. Purchases can only be reached behind a parent gate, so little chefs cannot buy anything by accident.
Please note: recipes and ingredients are shown with emoji, so not every picture matches the real food exactly.
Made with love for curious little cooks. Time to get cooking!
